Scanning in UC Labs/Classrooms
This document describes the method of accessing scanners attached to lab or classroom computers, including instructor and portable computers.
- Insert the document you wish to scan face down on the glass and close the document cover.
- Press Start | All Programs | MS Office | MS Office Document Imaging.
- Click File | Scan New Document
OR
Press the "scanner icon" on the standard toolbar - Make any settings changes you wish to make in the "Scan New Document" dialog box
- Press the Scan button to begin your scan
- If you see "No compatible scanner installed. Please install a scanner," check to make sure that the power and scanner cables are securely attached to both the scanner and computer.
- If you are still unable to scan, call Tech Support (1-800-696-4357) for assistance.
