Don't see network drives - Active Directory Environment

Network drives; e.g., K:,X:,J:,V:,etc, are not visible after logging in.

Problem: Network drives; e.g., X:,J:,V:, U:, etc, are not visible after logging in to an Active Directory computer (UMS or SWS domain)

Solution:

The most common cause of this problem is a timing issue during the login process.  "Logoff" from the start menu (Start Menu | Logoff | click the Logoff button) and log back into the computer.  Rebooting may help, but it may replicate the same timing issue.

If re-logging into the computer doesn't resolve the problem, test that you have a network connection by opening a web browser and visiting http://www.maine.edu
