How to set up the cordless phones.

Cordless Phones:

•  Make sure phones are plugged in and the handsets are in their cradles when not being used.
• Each phone handset and base station is tuned to the same frequency. If you get two handsets mixed up and put them with the opposite base stations they will not work. 
• Make sure the phones are set to "touch tone" mode. This is done by moving a toggle switch on the base unit (or sometimes on the side of the handset) to the "tt" (touch tone) choice.
• Program the memory dial numbers for the ITV classrooms into the cordless phone. To do so, do the following:
• Press the button labeled "PROG" program)
• Dial the number of the originating classroom (example: UMA - LRC 15 Press 1-800-696-1112)
• Press the button labeled: "MEM" (memory) or "AUTO"depending on the type of   cordless phone
• Press the "1" key (or whichever number you wish to associate with the room number)
• You'll hear a four beep tone that will confirm that the number was stored.
•  Dial out using the MEM (or Auto) button and the "1" to confirm the number was entered correctly.
