How to set up an ITV room.

ITV Reception: 

Check to make sure that you are getting all the ITFS channels that are available in your area.  If you do not see them, follow these steps.

·        Make sure the TV is tuned to Channel 3

·        Push the tv/vcr button on the VCR until "vcr" is displayed on the VCR's  LCD.

·        Check the TV mode setting on the VCR by pushing the setup button (on most VCR's). Navigate down the list on the menu screen by repeatedly pushing the setup button. Once you have navigated down make sure it is in the "CATV" mode.  If there are several choices for CATV mode on your VCR, choose "normal" or "standard" mode.

·        Within the setup mode you should see an "Auto Programming" or "Auto Memory" choice. Press the AUTO MEMORY button and wait for about 2 minutes. The channel indicator on the VCR display counts up then returns to the lowest broadcast channel in the memory. All occupied channels except scrambled ones will be automatically stored in memory.

Note: If a power failure lasts for more than 5 seconds the channel memory maybe erased. Should this happen, reset the channels again.

·        Check the coax cable coming from the wall to the VCR "In from Antenna" connection is good

·        Make sure the coax is going out from the VCR "Out to TV" port and into the TV's " in from antenna" port and the connection is good
