ITV Broadcast Classroom Computers

ITS Provides computers for use by instructors in ITV and Compressed video broadcast classrooms in the following locations.

• UMA - Katz Library ITV and compressed video classrooms
• UCB - Bangor Hall ITV classroom
• UM - Shibles Hall ITV classroom
• USM - Payson-Smith ITV classroom
• University College Centers compressed video classrooms (except Houlton)

These computers are configured with similar capabilities as University College center cluster computers.  Logging on requires a UMS ID (your @maine.edu account).  The computers are capable of transmitting their display over the ITV and compressed video systems.  Please check with your local Distance Education Technician, center staff or ITS Tech Support for assistance with these systems.

IMPORTANT : if you require additional software or hardware on an instructor computer be sure to read and follow these instructions.  Instructor computers are locked and any changes made during a session are removed when the computer is restarted.
